A happy couple of evenings painting Lord of the Rings miniatures, inspired by my son's desire for a couple of Warg riders.
Honestly, the sculpting on these is always a wonder. So gorgeous and such good likenesses and so very easy for you to get good results out of, even with my limited skills.
There's a few more now that I'm on a roll but here's what I've done today:
This one got broken by my son a few times so I've added a new staff from a Perry WotR and a banner. Although my choices generally go more towards the White Hand of Isengard, the Boy chose the Red Eye of Mordor so I made him a banner.
We'll see how long it lasts.
This Mouth of Sauron was a real pain to strip. I never managed to shift all the junk out of his mouth so move tried to rebuild the detail with painting. The mounted one is in better nick, thankfully.
Yet another Gandalf. I've lost count of how many I have. Still, they're fun to paint.
A lovely Strider; great to paint. Love the detail of the patches on his coat.
