Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers.

Humungus

Greetings from The Humungus! The Lord Humungus! The Warrior of the Wasteland! The Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla!

This was simply a bit of fun: to push the grime aesthetic as far as I could go and also to throw as much visual clutter on to the bike as I could.

The basic chassis was a Space Marine bike given to me many moons ago. The rider is a bash of a Plaguebearer, Tyranid and genestealer cult with a big chunk of greenstuff to repose him. I then slapped on every bit of junk a Wasteland Warrior could desire.

I stuck on a Nurgling mechanic because who doesn't love Nurglings?

There was a lot of the usual slopping of paint about, but the only bit of careful painting was the screen to get the glowing writing effect.

So these are the last two of the Drift for a while. Now we're off to a visit to the Silver Tower...

    1. Thank you; that was the general feel I was after - especially given the debt the old Chaos stuff owed to Mad Max!

  3. Fantastic and inspiring. What did you use for the ribbed tubing on the back? Looks like a extension spring maybe?
